Exibition time...

Today was set-up day for the Trelyn Quilters which also happen to meet at Fraddon Village Hall.

Our charity this year is Newquay RNLI, so we decided to have a seaside themed corner, which was great fun to set-up with shells, buckets full of sand and seaweed still with feathers and shells entwined.

As you may know I do love to make anything which involves the sea and the beach, so I could indulge to my hearts content. Here are my pieces...

White Lines on the Horizon

Tide Line 1 & 2

Beach & Cornish Sea
Not a very good photo with the reflections on the glass, but I had great pleasure in making them all.

I set a challenge to the members earlier in the year to make Prayer Flags and was very impressed when bags were unpacked to reveal this lovely selection...

Aren't they all wonderful!

Here is our beautiful group quilt which is the first prize in our raffle...

And finally, here are a few snaps to show you some of the quilts on show, enjoy...

Now I'm off to do some baking to add to the refreshments stall tomorrow, we always put on a good spread.

Love to see you if you're in the area and thanks for reading.
