Three more pages...

This yellow and copper piece is for Margaret. It has yellow fabrics overlayed with copper net. Pieces of copper shim that have been through a crimping machine and hand made paper and Tyvek beads. Also some rather gaudy fabric which has been in my stash for years. I have used machine stitching and a blanket stitch edge.
The next piece is for Jane in her chosen colours of turquoise and gold. I have ironed painted bondaweb onto turquoise fabric and machined over this. A piece of painted and zapped Tyvek was stitched across the piece with beads filling in the spaces. A little gold foiling was also added.

My third finished piece is for Sue. She chose grey and green for her colours. I found this fabric in my stash which I have been waiting for the right opportunity to use. It’s a piece of batik from Cowslip that reminds me of rock strata.  It was machined stitched and then a piece of grey and white zapped Tyvek was added. The centre piece of fabric has hand stitching, small grey beads and paper beads. I hope you like it Sue.It’s so nice making things for friends that you know will cherish them. We don’t see each other often just now as “life” has taken over but our bond is still strong and who knows what the future for Textile Maids may hold?
Take care everyone Rosemary
