I-SEW-LATION

All the latest COVID-19 news is bombarding us and dominating our thoughts and conversations - we are all thinking about the unknown effect and impact this will have on our lives. Clearly it’s going to be affecting us for some time, so perhaps our community spirit is going to help us get through this situation - being kind to one another, looking out for each other and supporting each other.
Perhaps sharing our work on our blog might bring a bit of cheer to our very uncertain world.
We all benefit enormously from our creative past times - threading a needle works wonders for our minds.
Creating always makes me happy. Crafting is absorbing, therapeutic and good for the soul at any time but especially at times like these.
Gardening in the sunny spot, (Sue is weeding for England she says!) hearing the bird song, or being comforted by the new green growth of shoots and buds will all contribute to our greater well being.
We can try to lose ourselves for a few minutes in our I-sew-lation, regarding this enforced quiet time as a private stitching retreat.
We wish you all well, as we follow advice for our safety, keep as busy and cheerful as we can, and be cautious but not afraid.

Debbie
